An 18th century English carved Beer stone chimneypiece in the Palladian manner. The centre tablet carved in high relief with the mask of Vesta, goddess of the hearth and home is flanked either side by panels finely carved with oak and acorn swags. The moulded jambs resting on simple plinth blocks and the whole surmounted by a carved and moulded shelf.An 18th century English carved Beer stone chimneypiece in the Palladian manner.
