A fine set of 20thc polished steel fire furniture by Archibald Carne (1849-1968) comprising a wire mesh fire-screen, pair of andirons, tongs, shovel, poker & brush. All stamped (apart from the fire-screen) A.Carne, Truro. Similar examples were featured on his stand at the Red Rose Guild Exhibition in Manchester, 1937.
