A rare 18th century English statuary and inlaid coloured marble chimneypiece. Below the rectangular shelf the frieze with an oval inlaid with jasper and flanked either side with inlaid 'flutes' of brocatello and verde antico and roundels inlaid with verde antico linked by delicate swags of brocatello beading. The blockings inlaid with tiree marble ovals and the jambs inlaid with similar 'fluting' of verde antico and brocatello as the frieze. Circa 1800.
