A good 18th century George II Hartham Park limestone chimneypiece. The frieze of this fine architectural chimneypiece is centred by fleshy leafy fronds ornamented with flowers and fruit and flanked either side by a raised swan neck broken pediment carved with an acanthus leaf moulding. The moulded jambs resting on plain plinth blocks, the whole surmounted by a carved and moulded breakfront cornice shelf. Circa 1735. Restored.
